03/07/01 - The Green Hope High School Symphonic Band participated in their first North Carolina Band Directors Adjudication Festival on March 7, 2001 and received the highest rating possible from all four judges. The State Music Educator's Association awarded the ensemble an overall superior rating plaque.  Congratulations, Symphonic Band.

02/08/01 - CONGRATULATIONS!  The Green Hope High School Band has been selected to be one of 16 bands from across the country to participate in this year's Fiesta Bowl festivities in Phoenix, Arizona. The formal invitation arrived yesterday and now the students begin the 11 month journey of making this experience of a lifetime a reality. Way to go!
