Congrats to the GHHS Band, students and and parents alike, for running another great All-District auditions. Everyone was so nice, and helpfull. I am sure you made most people feel very at ease. You guys are great!!!!!

Just sitting in CA and decided to write to all u peoples and i have to tell u that i might not be going to this school next year but i will be doing winterguard and i'm wondering if any guard members have info about winterguard because i know some friends that would like to join. Yes u found some guard freaks or they want to be guard freaks and they would like to be in colorguard next year so if u have any info please give it to me. Also, i would like to say van u need to convice your parents to let u do winter and colorguard next year. Also, i will try to convice my parents to let me stay at this school. Hey Everyone! I'm gonna miss all the seniors (that i met most of all) and it was a great season for my first year in guard. Well, our season's over and another pair of shoes ruined. LoL. I had a blast the second time around. And next year we're going to show the state of North Carolina we can do it again! I'm going to miss all of the seniors leaving us in May. But they leave behind a piece of themselves. They were the ones who were here on the first day and started something that just going to get bigger and bigger. I've enjoyed my time with you all and I love each and everyone one of you!!! Hey! I just wanted to tell everyone thanks for making this season great this year! It was so much fun! Geez...all the memories. I am glad I am apart the band again. The season came and went before we know it. I remember all those practices that seemed to go on forever, and then the ones that went by so fast. And the practices that we had in the mornings, and the games. And the great competitions...and bus rides. Phew...those were interesting. Haha. Anyways, thanks for the great season everyone! ~Amanda~

hey.. im realy tired and just decided to come on here and ramble.. does anyone remember going to lazy dayze? that must of been the first time we were actually out, showing off our music i think. now remember last night... around this time.. we were coming home and we had our own little "traffic jam" with all teh parents car horns. .. wow.. weve come really far. freshman, like me, have just started this hole marching thing about.. only five months ago. weve all grown in so many ways. remember around our first practice at uncw where it just totally downpored on us adn then we got bitten up by fire ants? seniors, never forget us. when you win awards, nobel peace prizes, grammys, emmys, oscars, .. remember your last year of highschool. never forget. and we will never forget you. love, lindsay

Congratulations to all on such an incredible season! From just barely missing BOA regional finals in September to taking grand champion at the remaining five competitions was quite an achievement. Of course, success is measured in ways much different than by the numbers judges give out. This group grew together and handled adversity like none I've even been around. In all my years teaching, I can certainly say this is the best band and strongest show I've had the pleasure of working with. I wish best of luck to those who will be moving on. To the rest, I look forward to seeing you build on this year's success and taking the Green Hope program to new heights.

Wow ~ what a season! I don't believe we ever expected the magic that we created this year. Last night we most definately "left it on the field" and this season we showed everyone exactly who Green Hope High School is. It has been exciting to be part of a group that has been so dedicated to everything we have done. Internal Combustion is no more. Every now and then in life things just work in your favor. 136 wonderful students who never stopped working and always made rehearsal a priority, music that was just fun to play and great to listen to, fantastic parent group that understands what being a booster is all about, a great colorguard and drumline, beautiful props and a committed group of "techies" who made sure everthing worked, and a wonderfully talented and committed staff of people who made the quality of the experience genuine for the students. Thank you everyone for all that you have done to make sure that when people say, Green Hope High School, that is where that great band is from!

Evan--the band has lots of stuff to offer, so it's good that you're anxious about them.
